I am one of the directors at CJL Film Production (Pvt) Ltd. With 25 years of extensive experience in the film industry, he has honed his expertise in film editing and cinematography. He has worked with renowned companies such as Cinema Buddi, Cinepro Lanka (Pvt) Ltd., and F.EG. His diverse portfolio spans across films, TV commercials, and documentaries. Notably, he served as the key gaffer for Matha and Nimnayaki Hudakalawa films. Additionally, he contributed as a cameraman for four years at Sri Lanka’s Presidential Media Unit.

From 1993 to 1999, worked as a camera director for more than 10 television dramas broadcast on various channels in Sri Lanka.
From 1999 to 2006, served as a camera director at Swarnavahini.
From 2006 to 2024, held the position of Chief Cameraman, Lighting Director, and Camera Director at TV Derana, as well as Assistant General Manager.
Worked as the Camera and Lighting Director for reality shows such as Derana Dream Star, Little Star, 60 Plus, and all other stage productions.
In 2015, received the award for Best Multi-Camera Direction and Lighting Direction at the State Television Awards.
In 2023/2024, served as the Camera and Lighting Director for TV Derana’s telefilms.
Now, I am ready to share my full experience with CJL Film Production and give my best in my work.
